STUDENT/CLIENT AND SCHOOL BARN LESSON POLICY

STUDENT/CLIENT AND SCHOOL BARN LESSON POLICY Our Lesson hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-7pm and Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm.
  • Riders should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the lesson. Student should check in with Kristin to determine what horse they are riding and prepare all tack needed.

  • Payment should be made at the end of each lesson, unless pre-payment has been arranged.

  • Students should bring their horses to the ring no more than five minutes before the lesson time. Riders who are able should mount at the time their lesson is scheduled to begin, otherwise this groundwork will be implemented into the student’s lesson until he/she is capable of doing this themselves. Lesson time also includes any tack changes and warm-up and cool-down of horse.

  • Attire: Approved Riding helmet with chin strap, hard-soled shoe with a heel, preferably paddock boots, long pants (i.e. jeans), form fitting tops (nothing baggy or loose, all tops tucked in), all hair should be pulled back in a tie or tucked under your helmet.

  • In the event that the student is late we will attempt to compensate them for the lost time ONLY if both the instructor and horse's schedule allow. If a student is 15 minutes late he/she will not be offered the remainder of the lesson.

  • There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.
